Vinous Josh Raynolds - 01 Jan 16
Opaque ruby. Heady, smoke-accented aromas of blackberry, cherry compote, vanilla and licorice, with a zesty mineral nuance adding urgency. Sweet and penetrating on the palate, offering juicy dark berry and violet pastille flavors and a suggestion of Indian spices. Rich yet lively Tempranillo with a very long, gently tannic featuring smoke and mocha notes. This exotic wine spent ?? in new French oak barriques.
